Queensland Racing Industry – Size and Scope of the Racing Industry in Queensland
IER recently delivered a research study that illustrated the economic and social value of Thoroughbred, Harness and Greyhound Racing in Queensland. The report demonstrated the economic activity, level of full-time equivalent employment and taxation revenue generated for both the state and federal governments.
The study also outlined the significant social impacts that the racing industry has on regional and rural communities in Queensland.
